Ocean Dunes Villa 205

Had a wonderful time. Great location close to Coligny plaza. Easy access to the beach. The room was nice and clean. Refrigerator had rust on it but other than that everything else was great. People smoking cigarettes on the balconies at night made it unpleasant to sit out on the balcony. Overall had a great time here.

Just returded from another amazing week on HH, and the beautiful condo at Ocean Dunes couldn't have been better. From the gorgeous views to the comfortable, tasteful, complete furniture and decorations, beautiful beach, close to all - the whole experience was wonderful. The Vacation Time of HH team went above and beyond to be kind and helpful w a few personal glitches that unexpectedly came up. We loved the convenience to the beach and all of the Coligny Plaza shops and restaurants. The unit was clean and updated and had we enjoyed the heated pool. The Hilton next door was a great place to grab a quick coffee or bite to eat- now if only we could access their hot tub and gym, it would be perfect :) Kristen at Vacation Time was amazing- so friendly and helpful and she went above and beyond to assist us when we had a rental car issue. Thank you for a great stay!

Great location and a very clean unit made this a pleasant experience.
The main bedroom needs drapes on the window due to the unbelievable amount of lighting from next door which is on all night.
The turtles aren't the only ones who need the darkness!
The broken and torn screen door to the balcony is difficult to open due to rust.
The only amenity here is the pool. The live music from the overly-lit building across the way is pleasantly heard in this unit.

Everything was good. It was not an oceanfront as advertised. It was not on the beach. You had to walk a ways down. Also, I saw two big water bugs in the room Please spray often.

We always rent through Vacation Time of Hilton Head and always stay at Ocean Dunes! We have stayed in this particular condo before. It is newly updated and very nice! We absolutely love it! The only downside is that there is no bathtub and that can be a little difficult with small children ... but definitely doesn’t deter us from choosing it again! The only suggestion I have is to provide ice trays (the ice maker works, just not fast enough).

We have stayed in this same unit for several years in a row and simply cannot imagine staying anywhere else on the island. The location is so central and right on the beach; the management is very friendly and professional and the what you get for your money is superb!

This was the most pleasant stay our family has ever had. The condo is perfectly located with a nice view and quick access to pool and the beach. The condo itself was comfortable, clean, and well kept with updated furnishings - just like the pictures! Only gripe was that there were zero hangers to be found. We will be returning next year, with a few hangers just in case.

My mom stayed in 205 and she said it was very nice and clean also. She likes sitting on the porch and 205 being a corner villa gives her a great view and breeze. If we can get her down next year we would love to use this villa again.

We have been vacationing on HHI for years and have stayed in many rentals. We loved your stay in 205 Ocean Dunes. The condo is beautifully updated, and the view is spectacular. Our two young sons loved their room and the Master suite is great. South Forrest Beach is a great location! The laundry was less than desirable, but we would still rent here again.

We come every year to Ocean Dunes because it's a central location for our needs. It's very accessible to the ocean and beach which is also visible from our balcony. The walk to the beach through the deep sand is difficult for seniors and young families who I see struggling with wagons filled with toys, chairs etc. Continuing the boardwalk out to the beach would be very welcome!
There were some dust bunnies this year behind doors, under beds and in corners, but nothing that would stop us coming again next year!
Office staff are always welcoming and efficient.

Outdoor changes were lovely new railing and paint. One downside the wind now comes whistling around corner without the solid railing and less private. Noted new paint job and new couch. Very bright being an end unit. Great view to ocean and dunes

My wife Rosemary and I decided to take my older sister, Aileen, on a short vacation getaway. We all had a wonderful time visiting Hilton Head and the surrounding area. There is so much to do and countless good quality restaurants, in the immediate area. The beach is incredible and even the most ambitious walkers would never run out of waterfront to explore. The employees in the Vacation Time offices were very friendly and always willing to assist you with your enquiries. We look forward to a return visit next fall.

I have been vacationing at HH for 21 years now and honestly have to say this unit was incredible. Tile floors, showers and decorum made you feel like you were on vacation but not compromising. Couldn't ask for better balcony view. Beds comfortable, ample kitchen supplies, and rooms set up to allow for privacy. OK, so a couple negatives- not much closet space,very narrow hallway, shower water little smelly, more than 4 people gets a little crowded. Overall I give this condo a 8.5 out of 10 and would go back tomorrow!

We have stayed in these condos before but never in a unit that was so well furnished and stocked with everything you need for the entire week. Corner unit so there was a view of the pool and ocean. Absolutely loved it!!!!!

This was our third trip to Hilton Head Island and we have stayed at Ocean Dunes each time in hte same condo. It's convenient, close to the ocean view a view from the balcony and reaonable in price. The weather this year was unpredictable but did not hinder our activities tal.We will continue to visit each year as long as we can - we're already looking forward to next year!

Great location and view of the ocean from the balcony. For an end unit overlooking the pool, it remained quiet although we were there the second week in September. Couple of small maintenance issues were the sprinklers are missing caps and looks very unfinished,
dish washer was extremely noisey and we did have one palmetto bug experience but overall would go back to this location and unit in a minute. Vacation time, formerlly Adventure Inn, is very professional and a pleasure to work with

We have stayed at this location approxamatly 8 times over the years . Our boys have grown up at Hilton Head at this location. We haven"t been here in the last 5 years and it was once again a great place to vacation. The room we stayed in however was the
best ever.

The bedding could use a good cleaning!!! The kitchen needed to be cleaner .... dirty dishes in the pantry. The property did not have a wayt to clean the broom! Overall needed a good dusting. Lots of dust on the walls and fixtures and the dust bunnies in the floor were very bad.

Very nice , updated unit and great location. The swimming pool could have been cleaner. Some night time security
would be my suggestion. We had some items taken from outside our unit and so did friends of ours. People making noise all through the night and swimming in the pool at 3 AM kept me awake.

I am concerned with the Ocean Dunes property. We have been coming to OD for 22 years. It has undergone many changes in those years. It has always remained our favorite place on the island due to its homely feeling, beach location and people that kept coming back. Since the tearing down of the old adventure inn building things seem to be going down fast. Old friends have let their time shares expire, they are not being asked to renew, and/or are choosing to not renew. Many amenities are disappearing and nothing new is being put in its place. this past year we noticed that the rock walkways have been removed. I assumed that they became too cracked up, but no replacement. the chairs at the pool are in terrible shape. many are broken and there are not near enough. I remember the days when the chairs surrounded the pool and filled the sun deck. I am concerned with the parking situation. I am sure that others from nearby condos are coming and parking in the OD lot and using the pool/beach access, etc. There is no longer a guard to check for parking passes as cars enter the lot. Workers used to straighten and clean pool area each morning. this year this was done once in two weeks. I love OD and love the area, I would hate to see it go away....I would love to have someone assure me that the property is safe and is not in trouble of going "under". Really miss the tike hut and the college kids that lead the crafts for the kids... Very concerned about the clientel that are being rented too these days. I do not want to switch locations on HHI. We love it there but do not like the changes.......

It was unhappy,that the floor tiler serrated und layed tiles permanently from Sunday-Sunday between apt.305 over us. The cutting of the tiles on the balcony was very loud and annoying.But we know, some things must be done!

I have stayed in this room before, except it has been redone. I have been coming to Ocean Dunes since the mid 1980's. Love it, but this redone condo was better than any I have stayed in for a while.
